Community Involvement

There are many facets to being a “commercial venture with a social mission”, but we feel like one of the most important ones is to be involved with not only the Minneapolis cycling community at large but with the neighborhoods where our shops are located and that support us. Instead of fancy advertising in large corporate publications and gimmick marketing, we use our resources very locally to have an impact on those around us: donated items for silent auctions, free bike repair and ride support for events, and donating bikes to special projects are just a few of the ways we do that. Below is a list of some of the things we’ve done. Ride support for the Northeast Ride - northeastride.org (June 2012)
Artshare
Twin Cities Bike Walk Move
Audoban Neighborhood, Northeast, and West Broadway Farmers Markets (Summer 2012)
Marcy Open School
Open Streets (June 2012)
Edison High School (2011)
